ECAASU is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that promotes awareness of Asian and Pacific Islander social issues. Run by volunteers, ECAASU's advocacy work focuses on outreach to AAPI student organizations across the United States and by educating individuals through various programs throughout the year. ​

Community Calls Coordinator (2023–2024)
Graphics & Social Media Co-Coordinator (2024–2025)

From 2023 to 2025, I served on ECAASU’s volunteer leadership team. First as Community Calls Coordinator, then as Graphics & Social Media Co-Coordinator. These roles allowed me to blend my creative skills with community care, supporting ECAASU’s mission of Asian American visibility, healing, and collective action.

In my first year, I launched the Community Calls program to keep engagement flowing between conferences, creating infrastructure, leading virtual events, and writing messaging that felt human and warm. In my second year, I helped lead content strategy across social media, designing graphics and managing outreach for events and campaigns.

Though my term has ended, this work will always mean a lot to me.

Notable Contributions:
  • Launched and led the Community Calls program to foster year-round engagement
  • Facilitated virtual events and open calls, blending storytelling with community care
  • Designed branded graphics and co-managed social media strategy (Instagram & LinkedIn)
